If I'm honest, I'm not 100% enamored of the transporter idea anyway. There are a myriad of GO1 issues involved, since there are natives literally everywhere right now.

OOC: It was just a thought. Who's up next?

Patrick Goodman

Not a bad one, either, if we didn't have such tight GO1 restrictions on this one. Besides, this is just set dressing; I'm waiting for the real guests to arrive.

In the meantime, I think Dietrich should take a shot at A5.

OOC: Whatever do you mean by that?  ::) ;D

"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Davy, aka GM

The security specialist's shot goes wide of its target, and dirt is kicked up some distance past the Apellan.

OOC: There are no Apellans left to act, so what do you folks want Kowalski to do? Also attack A5?
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Yeah, sounds good to me, too.

If, on the off chance you ever need a random hit location chart and you don't already have one, I've found that the Fallout 2d20 character sheet has a serviceable one.

OOC: Noted. I'll take a look.

Kowalski's shot strikes the ground about yard short of its target. The Apellan warrior needs no further prompting to immediately seek cover.

OOC: Starting Round 2. Since you folks ended the last round, the Apellans start this one.

Apellan A5 Fitness + Security (10/2) Sprint Task vs. Difficulty 0.
Rolled 2d20 : 3, 9, total 12
"Course, sir?"

OOC: 2 Successes vs. Difficulty 0. Success, plus 2 Threat generated. 1 Threat spent to move 1 additional Zone. A5 moves from Zone 7 to Zone 2 (and will be slotted just below A3 on the map; I'll update it when I get home tonight).

The Apellan scrambles to join his two compatriots, diving in next to them and disappearing behind the rocks.

OOC: Spending 2 Threat to keep the initiative. Spending 1 more Threat to Create Opportunity (1 die).

The warrior next to him pops up and fires his musket at Kowalski.

OOC: Apellan A3 Control + Security (9/2) Ranged Attack vs. Kowalski vs. Difficulty 2.
Rolled 3d20 : 9, 9, 15, total 33

OOC: Okay, fresh round for the protagonists. Who's up first? All three Apellans are technically targetable, although A3 has one less [CD] of cover, since he has just taken a shot.

OOC: Well to keep things moving along I guess Cole will take a shot at A3. I won't try and Recover this round as we are still in a firefight.
