OOC: The consensus between here and Messenger is that you'll spend the 2 Momentum to keep the initiative, and that Tann-Tyra will go next.

Nolmir, did you want to play Tann-Tyra's turn?
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Nolmir

OOC: Sure! Sorry guys, meant to chime in earlier, but work was kicking my butt today. Tann-Tyra will fire at A4.

Minor action: Take Aim

Attack: Control 10 + Security 4 vs. Difficulty 2
Rolled 2d20 : 14, 11, total 25

Nolmir

Rolling for damage to keep things moving:

Rolled 7d6 : 6, 2, 2, 6, 1, 4, 5, total 26

Redshirts are NOT messing around!
"Plus who is going to be consoling Sorak there?"

"The commander raises a valid concern," Sorak replied with his usual aplomb, "As you can see, I am beside myself with worry."

Davy, aka GM

OOC: I count 2 Successes vs. Difficulty 2. It's a hit!

Damage rolled is 8 + 3 effects, for a total of 11.

The security officer has to shoot over the intervening rock formation, so A4 gets 2 [CD] for cover.
Rolled 2d6 : 5, 4, total 9

OOC: Cover grants A4 1 Resistance, for a result of 10 stress. Since the poor fool just Avoided the Injury (and hasn't had a chance to Recover), he suffers 2 Injuries (one for exceeding 5 Stress and one for taking him to 0 Stress).

(I mistakenly gave A1 2 Injuries, but he would've received only one (as the Stress he took wasn't enough to reduce him to 0, but I discovered my error too late. In the case of A4, though, his damage was far over his Stress limit.)

Tann-Tyra with practiced ease, raises her long arm as if she was born to it and looses a shot that strikes the warrior in the head. His body goes immediately limp and falls unceremoniously to the ground.

OOC: Apellan A3 is next up.

Renny

OOC: I guess the obvious move here is to have Kowalski take a shot at A5 as he is out in the open?

Renny

OOC: Thinking ahead, if we can take A5 out of play, we could use transporters to get behind the two in cover without their knowledge and presumably take them prisoner with a view to questioning them. This would also avoid further loss of life, hopefully.

Nolmir

OOC: Ooh, audacious. I like that idea!

Renny

OOC: Assuming A5 can be taken out, we could cover the transporter noise by shooting at the two in cover to keep their attention on the ridge rather than what's happening behind them. Just an idea.

Davy, aka GM

OOC: Just as a reminder that if you're planning on beaming folks behind the Apellans, shooting at the Apellans from the other direction will put the beaming characters at risk.
