The musket ball rips through Cole's native tunic and tears through the flesh of his torso as it skims a rib.

OOC: Cole takes the Stress, but isn't Injured. (You can't Avoid another Injury without first succeeding in a Recover task.

The Apellans will give you back those 2 Momentum to Keep the Initiative. I'll do that turn when I get home and can update and post the map.

OOC: I'd suggest whoever goes next should focus on either A5 or A4 as they seem to be the most immediate threat to our postion.

Cole gasps at the stinging pain from the musket ball, and grits his teeth, realising he was lucky not to have suffered more serious injury.

Well, they're both two zones away, but A4 feels closer, so Treyva will take a shot at him.

The poor Apellan has only a small amount of cover against Treyva's shot, so he gets only 1[CD] cover.

OOC: Apellan A4 takes 6 Stress and receives an Injury. He takes a Complication, which we'll call Debris in the Face, which will increase the Difficulty on any sight-based Tasks.

Treyva's shot skims against the lower rock formation, sending lead and sandstone spraying toward the target. Several pieces of debris strike the upper half of the Apellan, opening several wounds and temporarily blinding him.
