Ally detects a collection of advanced composite materials unique to Federation hand portable power cells; the quantity is consistent with at least a hundred various Starfleet handheld devices. It also detects a separate metallic alloy that is not native to Neural.

OOC: For Obtain Information, I'd be happy to tell you what that alloy is...

Technically I spent a Momentum on the task, so the one earned should replace it, but I'll bite and spend it on Obtain Information.

The door to the smithy is closed, but unlocked and unbarred.

Cole looks around again to be sure they are not being observed and then opens the door, gesturing for the crewman to follow hm inside

OOC: Forgot you mentioned spending the point of Momentum.

The tricorder takes a moment to figure out the alloy's composition, and Ally learns it's native to Qo'nos; in fact, the shape suggests a d'k tagh!

Meanwhile, Cole opens the door and slips inside, and the pair are immediately met with the heat of the forge. It feels small, not that either man has any scale by which to compare it; an anvil is positioned near the forge, which is burning red hot, and a workbench is not far away. Rows of cylindrical slugs and mandrels line a section of the wall near the bench, and what looks like parts of a musket (sans barrel) are laid out on the bench.

On the floor in the middle of the room, an Apellan lying face down begins to stir.

The quartet enter the building and find themselves in an open room, with a stairway leading up on the left, and a stairway leading down on the right, and a door on the opposite wall. Tann-Tyra hears sounds of movement from the floor above, as if someone is walking about upstairs.

Just checking, but would my earlier scans have revealed any life forms or do I have to make a different scan/spend momentum to check?

A quick check of the data gathered from her last scan tells Ally that three human life forms are in a room right above her, one is at the north end on the second floor, and another two are on the second floor over the west side of the bridge.

Tann-Tyra's scan reveals two individuals (human) are the ones walking around in the room upstairs. She detects no one past the door in front of her, although it looks like a courtyard of some kind and a number of human and canine life forms are in the building on the other side of it.

OOC: Okay, Cole, there's a man on the floor who's starting to wake up. You and your man have a chance to act before he comes around. What do you do?

Meanwhile, Gerald, on overwatch, begins to see a number of men returning to the village through the northwest gate. There are, at least, a dozen working their way into the village proper.

Gerald opens a communication channel to the group leaders again. "Heads up, I'm seeing men returning to the village from your mugato diversion. At least a dozen coming into the village from the northwest."

OOC: I really don't want to do this but I don't see that we have a choice.

"Dammit," Cole whispers as he sees the form on the floor stirring. He gestures to the security crewman. "Keep an eye out. We can't afford for this guy to wake up right now."

Cole draws his phaser and double checks it is set to stun. He levels the weapon at the unfortunate on the floor.

"Sorry mate".

OOC: Happy to retcon this if you guys can think of a better way round it. If only I had a Vulcan with me. Would it be possible to spend Momentum to create an advantage and specify that my undefined security crewman is a Vulcan?
