Personal opinion question:  Is everyone but Tann-Tyra and me behind sufficient cover that if there was a beam-out, the Apellans would be unable to see it?

No. The cover is good, but not to the point where the Apellans can't see you (especially the two still up top). You have to get off the map to find cover where they can't see you.

Two other complicating factors: The visual and audio components of the transporter effect itself. They're not subtle.

Treyva glance briefly to his right to make sure his crew was behind cover. With the exception of Tann-Tyra, all of them seemed to be.

His eyes returned to the still-prone Deltan girl. He had to buy her a little more time. Raising his own rifle once again, he aimed at the Apellan who had begun reloading his rifle, and squeezed his trigger.

Okay, going to take a Minor Action to Aim at AEW-v, then fire.
