Renny

OOC: Not sure what happened with the Daring there. Her score in Daring is 8 so that is one success

Davy, aka GM

OOC: The 8 with a parenthesis gives you the "cool" smiley. You can turn smileys off in your post under the "+ Attachments and other options" beneath the text block (you don't need to go back and do that, since it would mess with your roll).

AEW-"r" 2 Successes vs. Difficulty 2. Success, with 0 Momentum generated. Tann-Tyra 1 Success vs. Difficulty 1. Success, with 0 Momentum generated. A tie. In a tie, the acting character (AEW-"r") wins the opposed task.

If the Apellan didn't have nearly 30 kilos on Tann-Tyra, the block with her rifle might've staved off his furious attack; however, as it is, both her longarm and his crash against her chest.

OOC: Apellan bludgeoning damage  6[DC]
Rolled 6d6 : 3, 4, 1, 2, 2, 2, total 14

Davy, aka GM

OOC: Tann-Tyra takes 7 Stress for an Injury. Renny, do you want to spend 2 Momentum for her to avoid it?
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Renny

OOC: It would be silly not to so yes please.

Davy, aka GM

Tann-Tyra briefly has the wind knocked out of her, but she twists her body just enough to avoid the knockout blow.

One of the other Apellans on the ledge above tries to shoot Ally from his high position.

OOC: Adding 2 Momentum to keep the initiative.

AEW-N Control + Security (10/3)
Rolled 2d20 : 1, 20, total 21

On a side note, I realized I mistakenly listed the last two AEWs' Security score as 4, instead of 3; however, none of the results would've been affected.

Gun Jammed Complication (Apellan Elite Warrior "P")

Weapon: Repeating Rifle (ranged, 3+Sec [CD], Vicious 1, Deadly)
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Davy, aka GM

OOC: Well, this presents a bit of a dilemma.

2 Successes vs. Difficulty 2. It's a Hit, with 1 Complication generated. In this case, we're going to say that, in lieu of an official Complication, the man loses his rifle after firing it this round.

AEW-N repeater damage 6[CD]
Rolled 6d6 : 6, 4, 4, 4, 4, 6, total 28

On another note, I just realized that my mistake in the Apellan's Security discipline actually contributed an extra die to damage. So, I'm dropping that last die, meaning Tann-Tyra only takes 5 Stress instead of 7. It's still an Injury that she had to avoid, but it gives her a little more leeway before she's at 0 Stress.
"Course, sir?"

OOC: That's a "paltry" 4 damage. Doug, please roll 3[CD] for Ally's cover resistance.
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Renny

OOC: Tann-Tyra thanks you :-)

Davy, aka GM

OOC: Well, you know, these guys are neither evil nor stupid enough to fire down at their own men in a melee. ;)
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Renny

OOC: They are proving to be quite the effective fighting force at the moment. We really need to try and change the script here

Rolled 3d6 : 3, 1, 3, total 7
"Plus who is going to be consoling Sorak there?"

"The commander raises a valid concern," Sorak replied with his usual aplomb, "As you can see, I am beside myself with worry."

OOC: 4 damage minus 1 resistance. Ally takes 3 Stress.

The cover explodes in front of Ally, spraying stone particles at her head and shoulders; shrapnel cuts at her exposed skin, forcing the security specialist to spin away.

Above, however, the warrior steps too close to the edge after firing and loses his footing; he avoids falling off the ledge, but in the few panicked moments of uncertainty his gun plummets to the ground below.

OOC: Back to you folks. Who's up?

OOC: Tann-Tyra can act if that's ok?

Although pinned by the weight of the Apellan, Tann-Tyra tries to use her training to twist her attacker off.

OOC: I'll assume a Melee attack unless you tell me different.

Daring (8) + Security (4) vs Difficulty of 1.
