I think Dietrich's closer. I'll roll for him to save time.

Dietrich Fitness + Security Task (9/2), TN 11, base D2 (effective D1 due to Advantage)
Rolled 2d20 : 3, 4, total 7

Treyva assists with Presence + Command (10/5), TN15 - Lead by Example might apply if you can apply Focuses to assist rolls
Rolled 1d20 : 15, total 15

Let's see what happens.

Wow. Go Dietrich!

I am going to invoke my Starfleet Citation for Conspicuous Gallantry and try to get rid of those two points of Threat I just gave you. To save time, here's teh text of the decoration's game effect: "Once per mission, when the character pays for an Immediate Momentum Spend (of any kind) by adding to Threat, they may roll 1 [CD] per point of Threat added. For each Effect rolled, one of the points just added to Threat is removed immediately."

I added two points with that Advantage; let's see if the dicebot will let me have either of them back....
Rolled 2d6 : 6, 5, total 11

Don't fail me now....

OOC: 2 Successes for Dietrich, plus 1 Success for Treyva, vs. adjusted Difficulty 1. Success, plus 2 Momentum generated. They can be spent or banked.

Dietrich calls out, "Cover me!" to Tann-Tyra as he grabs Cole and drags him back behind cover.

OOC: Before I have the Apellans act, what, if anything, would you like to do with the 2 Momentum?

"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Patrick Goodman

Of course, now I have to accept that the dicebot likely won't be this kind to me again....

And since I can't think of anything to do with it right now, pre-caffeine, let's just bank it.

OOC: Bank, aye.

The last of the Apellans rises up and fires at Tann-Tyra, trying to drive her back from her protected position.

The Deltan's luck holds as the warrior's gun jams and he looks at it with confusion.

OOC: Yeah, this is going to hurt.

7 damage + 3 effects = 10 Stress for 1 Injury. AEW-P spends 2 Threat to Avoid it.

The Deltan's shot clips the warrior's cheek, and he recoils away from the stinging lead.
