OOC: Since I challenged your "Safety of the Crew..." value, it's no longer accessible for the remainder of the episode. If you can make a case for one of your other three Values or a Directive, then you can use your Determination.
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Renny

OOC: No, that's fair. I'll spend a point of Momentum to add a dice to the pool and roll for it

Daring 10 + Medicine 3 vs. Difficulty 2

Rolled 3d20 : 8, 5, 2, total 15

Renny

Cole sprints forward as he sees Kowalaski drop to the dusty ground and throws himself down next to the injured man.

"You need to learn to duck, mate", Cole hisses, finding the wound through Kowalski's native clothes and pushing down hard to try and stem the bleeding.

OOC: 3 Successes vs. Difficulty 2. Success, plus 1 Momentum generated. The extra die paid for itself. :)

Kowalski is stable and will survive his Injury.

Cole works quickly to stem the tide of blood, all the while counting on the chaos of battle to hide the fact that he's using advanced bandages and first aid techniques out in the open.

OOC: What do you want to do with the Momentum? Also, do you folks want invoke Quick to Action to keep the initiative? (Also, rereading that Talent, it's effective for the entire first round, not just one use.)

If it's free, we'd be dumb not to keep the init.

Davy, aka GM

OOC: Keeping the initiative, aye. Who's going next?
"Course, sir?"

"Out there...thataway."

Doug Burke

Looks like that'll be Ally.

Banks dashes for the clump of rock near Treyva for cover, leans out and takes careful aim at the nearest ambusher before squeezing off a shot.

So she's using a minor action to move, using 1 Momementum to Aim, and firing.

Ally Control + Security (10/4) vs. Difficulty 2
Rolled 2d20 : 18, 10, total 28
"Plus who is going to be consoling Sorak there?"

Doug Burke

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm seeing 7 damage...

OOC: Apellan M takes 4 Stress.

The specialist's shot clips the warrior in the arm as he peers over the ledge. As the Apellan raises his weapon to return fire, Ally notices he's not carrying one of the village rifled muskets, but a Drake-built repeating rifle.
